Membership includes:

• Fishing tournaments: 12 to 16 events sponsored by OCSA each season, at Great Lakes and Inland Lakes locations.

• Membership to Michigan United Conservation Clubs (MUCC) magazine is included in your OCSA membership and will be emailed to you monthly. Members who wants a hard copy of "Michigan Out of Doors" must contact MUCC on their own and pay $20.00 per year.

• Downrigger: The informative OCSA bi-monthly newsletter is mailed directly to your home.

• Annual Family Picnic: Pot luck, bring a dish to pass. Everything else is furnished, such as meat, beverages, games and family gifts.

• Christmas Dinner: Clubs sponsored festive Holiday event. Presentation of Captain and Angler of the Year awards.

• Membership in Boat/US: This is optional, membership at a reduced rate.

• Monthly meetings: January through November--- interesting speakers and programs.

Typical OCSA Yearly Calendar of Events

• Monthly: January through November membership meetings with guest speakers and videos.

• Monthly: Board of Directors meeting to conduct club business and present new projects.

• January- March: Club sponsored Ice fishing tournaments (ice conditions permitting).

• April- May: Club fishing in rivers for Steelhead / Pier fishing for Salmon/Trout.

• May- September: Club fishing for Trout/Salmon/Walleye/Bass both on Inland Lakes and Great Lakes.

• Other events: include annual family picnic and December Christmas dinner.
